Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries
The Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation is proud to support the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries in their mission to provide tens of thousands of books to school libraries and students located all over our Nation. School libraries will use the funds to update and diversify their printed book collections.
First Lady Laura Bush is dedicated to advancing education in America. She created this foundation to help ensure that students will have access to relevant and interesting books that they need to build their education. The First Lady also seeks to help parents to understand the importance of reading aloud to and with children from their earliest days.
The Laura Bush Foundation is interested in investing in America ‘s future. They give grant preference to elementary, middle, or high schools where 90% or more of the school population receives free or reduced lunch. The Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation is proud to join the First Lady in this superb and extremely important initiative.
